EDT Lessons - 12hrs (or Reduced 6hrs)
At DriveAbility, we go beyond just ticking boxes. Our Essential Driver Training (EDT) service is designed to turn nervous beginners into confident, road-ready drivers. By following the structured RSA syllabus, we focus on hazard perception, speed management, and sharing the road safely. We work alongside your Sponsor to ensure the practice you do between lessons perfectly complements your formal training.
We also provide REDUCED EDT for eligible holders of foreign driving licences from countries like India, US or Australia.

Pretest packages
You’ve finished your 12 EDT modules — now it’s time to polish your skills for the big day. Our Pretest Packages are designed to remove the “fear of the unknown”. We simulate the exact conditions of the RSA driving test, covering everything from technical “under the bonnet” questions to the specific test routes at Mulhuddart or Finglas RSA test centres. We identify your “Grade 2” habits and fix them before the examiner sees them.

Automatic Car Hire
Take the worry out of your test day. This package provides a modern, fully insured, automatic vehicle that meets all RSA compliance standards—no need to worry about mechanical checks or paperwork.
What’s Included:
1-Hour “Warm-Up” Session: We meet an hour before your test to shake off the nerves. We’ll practice a few manoeuvres, review the technical “under the bonnet” questions, and get you into a smooth “automatic” flow.
A Stress-Free Ride: With no clutch or gears to worry about, you can focus 100% on your observation and road positioning.
Test Use: Use of our professional, dual-controlled automatic car for the duration of your official RSA driving test.
- Drop off : We drive you back home or to a location of choice in D15.
Arrive calm, drive an easy-to-handle car, and focus on getting your pink licence.
