How many EDT lessons do I need for an automatic driving test in Ireland?

Regardless of whether you choose manual or automatic, the RSA requires all learners to complete 12 Essential Driver Training (EDT) lessons. At Driveability, we specialize in automatic EDT lessons to help you progress faster through the syllabus.

Can I use a Driveability automatic car for my driving test at Maple House?

Yes! We provide car hire for the driving test at Maple House and Mulhuddart (N3/Maxol). This includes a pre-test lesson immediately before your exam to ensure you are comfortable and confident.

Is the driving test easier in an automatic car?
